What you will do
- Maintain and improve cloud infrastructure across multiple environments and platforms (AWS, Azure, and GCP);
- Manage deployment processes for multiple feature and platform services also on-premise;
- Maintain and improve application availability and performance for a global portfolio of customers;
- Identify manual processes, design, and implement automation solutions;
- Guide teams in the design and implementation of microservice architectures;
- Support incident response teams with in-depth infrastructure and service knowledge;
- Manage APIs that support both design-time and run-time application functionality;
- Work in collaboration with device client engineering teams to ensure that services meet performance, availability, and functional goals;
- Constant focus on security by design, including mitigation of identified vulnerabilities.
Must haves
- A degree or education in computer science and/or proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role (5+ years of experience);
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, CircleCI, GitLab CI/CD);
- Proficient with Kubernetes and Docker container management;
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform;
- Experience with one or more of the main cloud providers (GCP, Azure or AWS);
- Experience with GitOps and source control management tools like Git;
- Solid understanding of network, security, and cloud infrastructure;
- Scripting skills (e.g., Python, Bash);
- Good knowledge of the HTTP protocol and how HTTP-based microservices work;
- Excellent English and communication skills;
- You are a team player and work independently and autonomously.
Nice to haves
- Knowledge of Java, Go and SQL is advantageous.
