What you will do
- Plan and prioritize testing activities;
- Write, design, and execute automated tests by creating scripts that run testing functions automatically;
- Define, implement & monitor testing processes for all phases of the testing cycle;
- Maximize test coverage and identify automation opportunities for any needed features of the system;
- Partner closely with engineering and product leads and collaborate on finding efficiencies and identifying areas of improvement;
- Write documentation for automated processes including test plans, test procedures, and test cases;
- Provide manual testing support for engineering initiatives when required;
- Log and document bugs in the tracking system;
- Represent QA in all forums & act as a focal point of contact for the testing team;
- Assist in production issues/live site testing when needed.
Must haves
- +4 years of automation testing experience using JavaScript, TypeScript;
- Experience working with Playwright;
- Experience with manual testing;
- A deep understanding of eCommerce products, platforms, and technologies is required;
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, as well as proficiency in being proactive in raising potential issues within the team and external systems or partners;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
Nice to haves
- Mobile automation testing tools for Android, and iOS;
- Continuous Integration tools – Jenkins, Bit bucket, Github;
- JIRA – Defect tracking and task creation tool;
- Confluence, Share Point;
- Any Test Management tool;
- Work experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore models is preferred;
- Experience with Scrum methodology is preferred.
