What you will do
- Conduct audits to identify accessibility violations and report findings;
- Use automated tools to detect common issues and perform manual testing for deeper insights;
- Test keyboard navigation, screen reader compatibility, and dynamic content behavior;
- Collaborate with developers and designers to improve accessibility from the design phase;
- Document issues, log them in bug tracking software, and create compliance reports.
Must haves
- 4+ years of experience in manual testing with a focus on accessibility;
- Automated Testing: Axe, Lighthouse, WAVE, Tenon, Pa11y;
- Assistive Technologies: NVDA, JAWS, VoiceOver, ChromeVox, TalkBack (Android);
- Bug Tracking: JIRA, Asana, or similar;
- Mobile Accessibility Testing: Tools and Techniques for iOS and Android;
- Screen Reader Testing: Expertise with Windows and macOS tools;
- Upper-Intermediate English Level.
Nice to haves
- IAAP certifications (CPACC, WAS) are a plus;
- Experience testing color contrast, focus management, and assistive text clarity;
- Ability to evaluate cognitive accessibility for clarity and simplicity.
